SFX-anime serves as an excellent guide for people new to Japanese animation while also providing satisfying content for long-established fans. Our big feature is a run-down of the top 25 must-see anime titles - our guide to the movies and TV series we feel every anime fan should see. We've also interviewed some big names from Japan - anime directors Goro Miyazaki and Satoshi Kon give us the lowdown on their work and on their latest films, Tales from Earthsea and Paprika. Video game fans needn't feel left out either - we've got a retrospective on the RPG masters Square Enix, as well as a preview of the latest instalment in the Final Fantasy series, the hotly-anticipated Final Fantasy XII.
SFX-Anime is my favorite anime resource magazine. Reading it gives updates me on all games, shows, and manga.
It also looks at the work of Studio Ghibli, the home of Hayao Miyazaki and the people behind Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle. And if you're a child of the '60s, '70s or '80s then our feature on retro anime should give you a warm buzz of nostalgia. All this and much, much more
